About Alerts

Alerts are a way of warning administrators about various events.

Backup Alerts

When a virtual machine backup fails or is skipped, you will receive a “Backup report” email from the Xen Orchestra server. For details, see below.

Update Alerts

This system automatically checks for patch updates, and if a host is missing patches, it displays the number of missing patches as shown below.

• Yellow warning marks will appear on the left menu: “Home” and “Pools”.
• Pools: Shows in red the number of patches that have not been applied.
