Hypervisor and Specification Details

*1. For some software, the license count may be based on the number of sockets in the same pool (VDC). Please carefully review the licensing terms for each software.

*2. HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) mode is a technology that distributes data across at least three hosts in a minimum of three locations. In this configuration, an Interconnected Storage (ICS) contract is required. Please refer to the ICS page for further details. The available capacity in HCI mode is approximately one-third of the provided ICS. Data is distributed across hosts within the VDC and written to at least three hosts. While storage is thin-provisioned, it is recommended to use between 60-70% of the available capacity. It is also recommended that all hosts participating in the VDC be equipped with the same capacity of ICS. In HCI mode, a shared disk is available to all hosts, enabling High Availability (HA), which automatically restarts virtual machines in case of host failure. *3. The 3-Tier mode separates compute and storage management by using storage-dedicated services. In this configuration, Enterprise Storage is mandatory. If storage redundancy is required, two contracts for Enterprise Storage are needed. Although storage is thin-provisioned, it is recommended to use 60-70% of the available capacity. In 3-Tier mode, a shared disk is accessible to all hosts, enabling HA (High Availability), which automatically restarts virtual machines in case of host failure. Please refer to the server configuration for more details.

*4. The IaR (Independent and Replication) mode prioritizes server independence while protecting data through replication. In this method, you can select Interconnected Storage that operates independently and choose replication destinations such as storage or pools (VDC). If choosing storage for replication, Enterprise Storage or Backup Storage is required. If selecting a pool for replication, a separate HRPC pool (VDC) contract is required. Please refer to the server configuration for more details.

*5. IaR with KVM requires initial shipment in IaR mode. Replication is not possible in HCI mode or 3-Tier mode.

*6. HRI refers to High Response Instance, which is the virtual server in the High Response Private Cloud.

*7. Different architecture models cannot be integrated into the same pool.

*8. Unlike Public Cloud, Private Cloud is reserved per host rather than per VM on-demand. This refers to the coefficient when a host is fully populated with virtual machines. The average vCPU usage rate per instance is assumed to be around 30%. Please use this as a reference when comparing with 1 VM (1 vCPU/2 GB RAM).
