NTT FLET’S Hikari Next Type

NTT FLET’S Hikari Next Type is an inexpensive plan that uses NTT FLET’S for the last mile in addition to Private Connect port fees.

If you can prepare the FLET’S Hikari Next line from NTT East or NTT West, you can simply connect the “Cloud Gateway” to the network switch at your location (office, etc.) to enable L2 extension (extension on the same segment) to the cloud using the same IP address.

This is a service that allows you to easily migrate on-premise systems to the cloud.

After connecting the cables, power on the cloud gateway and check that the link is up for both GE0 and GE1. After a while, the PPP lamp will light up.

Note: Loop detection

PRC periodically sends keepalive frames to detect loops in order to prevent a total network failure caused by a loop on the on-premise side. Therefore, if there is a loop on the on-premise site, the PRC network port is designed to automatically go down for protection.

If you believe that an automatic block has occurred, please contact us at the following email address:

Connection complete

Once the connection is complete, communication will be possible between the on-premise VLAN and the servers connected to the VNS in the cloud.

Please check the connection between each VLAN and VNS.
