From Application to Start of Use for HRPC KVM Version

Pre-Preparation

Before or at the time of applying for the HRPC KVM version, the following preparations are required.

• Network Preparation (Required)
  • To prepare a connected network segment, you need to apply for a Virtual Network Switch (VNS).
• Main Storage Preparation (Required)
  • Refer to the High Response Private Cloud server configuration and choose between HCI Type, 3-Tier Type, or IaR Type.
  • HCI Type
    • HRPC requires at least three identical models. If contracted simultaneously, up to 24 units can be configured.
    • A separate contract for Interconnected Storage (ICS) is required. All hosts must have the same ICS capacity.
    • About one-third of the total ICS capacity is available for use, and it is recommended to use 70-80% of it.
    • Proxmox HA functionality is available.
  • 3-Tier Type
    • HRPC requires at least two identical models.
    • A separate contract for Enterprise Storage 6Gt (ES) is required. For redundancy, two contracts are needed.
    • For redundancy, create the necessary ESB (LUN) on the ES side and configure mirroring on the virtual OS.
    • If using single-system + ES replication, create File Storage (ESF), which supports NFS protocol.
    • Proxmox HA functionality is available.
  • IaR Type
    • HRPC requires at least two identical models.
    • Each virtual machine must have replication settings.
• Backup Storage Preparation (Optional)
  • A separate contract for Backup Storage 6Gt is required.
  • Create a BSF and configure regular backups. Only full backups are possible, and zst images are created.
